About Us
Mercedes Mikalaitis is the owner & founder of Tulla Events in Naples, FL. After earning her degree in International Relations in 2002, she began her journey as a corporate event planner and conference coordinator for Sodexo Corporation. In 2007 she took a hiatus to manage her husband's chiropractic practice. In that role her passion for organizing and planning the company's events and operations led her back to the industry she loves full-time.
Having the experience engineering small and large scale events for other companies as well as her own, she has gained the unique ability to personally understand what a successful event can do for team cohesion, your bottom line, and your brand.
The gift of organization, attention to detail, concept design and ceaseless enthusiasm has earned her a reputation for unparalleled excellence as an event planner and producer. She will execute your concepts flawlessly while maintaining a pleasant, calm and helpful demeanor.
When she's not busy planning events, Mercedes enjoys making trips to the beach with her family, and indulging in her passions for cooking and watching soccer.
Melanie Chauncey brings a wealth of experience across a diverse range of events, from intimate gatherings and charity fundraisers to career fairs, corporate functions, and large-scale music festivals, she blends creativity with strategy to deliver exceptional experiences.
Melanie studied Hospitality and Event Management at Kansas State University and earned a master’s degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, giving her the skills to craft corporate events that inspire connection, creativity, and forward-thinking.
Paired with her professional finance expertise, Melanie is a strong partner in managing budgets, forecasting attendee revenue, and creating experiences that leave a lasting impact.
In her spare time, Melanie enjoys playing sand volleyball, golf or pickleball, tackling DIY home projects, and spending time with her growing family.
